Content Consideration

To stay calm, children need to learn what they can do when they feel irritation and frustration, such as listening to music, deep breathing, reading books, and occasionality friends’ gathering.

It is vital for children to understand things that are always happening out of our control – how and why things will be happening. Therefore, children need to accept unfavorable conditions. In the meantime, children learn to release feelings of irritability and frustration and discover solutions for the unfavorable situation.

Nurturing children to have a calm personality, they discovered that things are more likely to be done in a faster, easier, and smooth way. Owing to lack of patience, things easily fail again without thoroughness and calmnes.

The same as the Poppy O’ Neill children’s social learning series, each book of Paula’s When I Am introduces a single behavior that guides parents and teens to have a basic understanding of what is important for them in their life development.

Paula’s When I Am series does not include any activities. Instead, by using simple language with lots of anime, the books are more appealing to teen’s interests and enable them to easily understand the meaning in different cognitive behaviors.
