Intervention Techniques
We can identify the needs of different bullying victims by using an empathy map. An empathy map is a four-quadrant chart. Each quadrant represents different human emotional behaviour. They are seeing, doing, thinking, and feeling.
We obtain the information in the empathy map through the interview process. During the interview, we ask victims questions and record their needs, desires, and expectations, as well as how we can help them achieve their desires. Most importantly, we observe their emotional responses, facial expressions, and changes in tone to better understand what the victims were thinking at the time. Based on the results, we can determine the best strategies to help victims solve problems.
